Section 1: Definition of terms

• “Senator” shall refer to any member of the upper house of the national legislature.
• “Constituent” shall refer to any individual who is eligible to vote in the senator’s district.

Section 2: Citizen voting on legislation

• Each senator shall be required to solicit their constituents’ views on any legislation they are considering voting on.

Future of Party X

• Voting will be done online, all votes for candidates will be through a ranked voting system.
• Voting requirements will be the same as those required by the citizen’s government.
• For votes to count the voter must be verified to be a legal citizen whose legally allowed to vote.
• Representatives of Political Party X must vote in accordance with their constituency. For example, if 51% of registered voters vote to pass a bill, the representative will be required to vote to pass it.
• Votes will be tallied using blockchain technology to ensure election integrity.
